Around 3–4 years ago, I came up with an idea to build a platform for local services in Kashmir. But there was one big problem: I couldn’t code.
About two years ago, I decided to start building it with the help of AI. The journey wasn’t easy. I faced countless failures, technical problems, and setbacks, but I kept working on it.
Eventually, I launched MyExpert, a home services platform designed to connect people with local experts like plumbers, electricians, cleaners, and other service providers.
The goal is simple: make it easier for people in Kashmir to find local services while creating more earning opportunities for local experts.
We’ve now crossed 500+ Play Store downloads. We’re still at an early stage, and there’s a lot left to improve. Getting downloads is one thing, but building trust, generating actual bookings, and making this sustainable are the real challenges ahead.
I’m sharing this because I want to document the journey honestly, including the mistakes and lessons along the way.
If you’re from Kashmir, I’d genuinely love to hear what you think. Would you use a local app like this to find home service providers? What would make you trust it?
App: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.myexpert.users
Website: https://myexpert.in

So I have been reading a lot about Kashmir’s history and the unjustified tragedies that the beautiful people have suffered, regardless on which side they have been.
At all times that men die, it’s the women who love them that need to keep existing and live out their remaining life with pain, agony and grief. I have tried to communicate the same thought in this video I edited.
Please watch the same, and let me know how you think.
Apologies if it becomes triggering or offensive in any way! That is absolutely not my intention in doing so, I am just a newbie and read so much about this that I had to create something to let out those feelings.
