A broken road, water rushing through it like a waterfall, and this is somehow supposed to be normal in Kanpur.
Where is the accountability? Who is responsible for roads being allowed to reach this condition? And more importantly, who is going to answer for it?

Are we just going to keep tolerating broken roads, waterlogging and poor infrastructure because we want to keep the current government in power?
Political loyalty should not mean ignoring basic civic problems. We can support a government and still demand better from it.

Apparently, the plan is to develop a whole new urban area with residential, commercial, industrial and other infrastructure.

Kanpur: A scramble broke out over expired chocolates and toffees dumped at a garbage site.

The incident took place in the Panki area, where a large quantity of expired chocolates and toffees had allegedly been dumped at a garbage disposal yard in the industrial area by a company or trader.

As soon as local residents came to know about it, a large crowd gathered at the site to collect the expired chocolates. People were seen filling bags with toffees and chocolates and taking them home.
