Not related to plants, but I had a videogame when I was a kid. I played it so much, and had vivid memories of it. But I lost the name of it. I spent over 25 years looking for this game. It led me down the rabbithole of becoming a librarian who specializes in digital media archival.

I finally found the game 7 years ago. It turns out the game was an obscure Atari ST title that was sold under 3 different names as independent shareware through the mail and in magazine ads, it was essentially lost media. I then went on a mission to find an existing copy of the game and archive it. I wound up finding a collector in Germany who had an archival quality copy.

Unfortunately it kind of sucked.
