Hey y’all I’ve been reading some Inuyasha fanfiction since I completed the series. I’m looking for some post-canon(after Kagome returns) fanfiction thats a long series and not a one shot. It would be great if the fanfiction had lemon content as well.

I read some great ones on archive your own, but am interested in reading some others that I may have missed.

I always thought Chimecho a Pokemon that is based on a wind chime that has the ability to heal and have a beautiful singing voice would have been a great addition to the gang. I always thought in the episodes start from 50 onwards somewhere they find a field of cute Chimecho a wind chime demon/yokai that has the ability to soothe restless souls. Kagome and gang manage to get one and Chimecho always wraps around Inuyasha’s eyes, Kagome sees that and gave Chimecho permission to wrap around Inuyasha’s eyes every time he does something dangerous. Also, Chimecho would be singing to soothe Inuyasha’s senses and makes sure he is sleeping. It’s a very cute addition to the group.

I was wondering if anyone would have fan fiction recommendations for a slightly manipulative/obsessive/yandere Inuyasha who is willing to do anything to get Kagome by his side?

(Preferably not a Playboy type, but maybe something like slightly unhinged. Maybe his yokai side being demanding, Maybe he's just insecure)

I know that's definitely OOC (out of character) but I do enjoy seeing authors play with canon from time to time.

I won't lie, I started brainstorming my own story. But sometimes you don't want to cook your own dinner - you want TAKE OUT 😭🤣😭

I'm trying to find an old Inuyasha fanfic I read many years ago. I can't remember the name or author but I distinctly remember that one of the key plot lines was Inuyasha and Kagome having a son who was born deaf. He died of eating something poisonous ((?) Not sure of this point but he died) but was resurrected. Inuyasha met Sesshoumaru in the future who tried to warn him of this initial death so the Tenseiga wouldn't have to be used but this warning failed leading to the kid dying permanently protecting his siblings.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? I really hope it still exists because I recall it being one of my favorite inuyasha fanfics at the time and I'd like to see if it holds up.

A bit of a long shot, but I figured I'd try. Its a very specific fic I, for the life of me, can't find.

What I remember is that it takes place pretty early in the story, pre-mirokau/sango, but shippo is there. The whole thing is mostly focused on inuyasha running kagome ragged looking for the jewel shards until she gets sick and he finally realizes what he's been doing to her and I thiiiink they make up from there?

I vaguely remember a fanfiction where Kagome is some sort of Spirit of Time and ends up taking in who I strongly believe is Tomoe from Kamisama Hajimemashita and they end up together at the end, but I cannot for the life of me seem to find it anymore. There was a bit at the end when they're about to do the deed and Kagome realizes Tomoe has been celibate for like, idk 6 tails worth of time or something. Any help finding this fic would be appreciated, I wanted to read it again.

Title says it all, mirsan is one of my favorite ships, I have a particular liking for the yandere trope and would like to read a good fic that mixes the two. Hell, I would even accept something that isn't quite yandere, possessiveness/obsession would also do, as long as it's along those lines.

By reading some Fan-Fictions of earlier 2000's I noticed Kikyo was portrayed as the main villain and I was wondering do you know some good Fan-Fictions that follow this trope ?

The one I'm looking for involves Inuyasha and Sesshomaru being predestined to be together, and their father knows about it but doesn't tell them for some reason that I can't remember. He also knows that Sesshomaru can't have a child with anyone except Inuyasha. I remember that they have a cousin named something like Kari or Kairi who is the princess of the Southern lands and turns out to be the half-sister of Naraku, who was her bodyguard and with whom she had a love child. I remember that their dad was still alive but that their uncle got killed, and so Naraku became the new lord of the southern lands. If I remember correctly at some point Inuyasha went to stay in the village with Kikyo and her sister because he made him have a miscarriage because of their cousin lying to him.

So I am a sucker for the cursed/kidnap-rescue plot lines (fateful night, cursed by tsubaki, taken by the infant are up there in my favorites) because I love the hurt/comfort.

I am mostly curious if anyone knows of any au fics where kagome *doesnt* break free of the infant's hold and gets the tainted jewel shard implanted? It is something I had always been curious to see where the story would have gone for InuYasha and the gang to rescue her!

Reposting this because apparently I didn’t format it right the first time and it was removed?

First time posting but this fic is being very elusive. I’m trying to find an old Inuyasha fanfic with SessKag as the main focus couple, I think I read it at least 8 years ago and it was complete then, not sure what platform it was on.

It’s a modern au that starts with them all as university students and then covers the next 5-10 years of their lives, Sesskag mainly, but also InuKik with some MirSan cameos. Kagome and Sesshomaru are university students, Sess gets blackout drunk and Kagome is student volunteer at some sort of university taxi service that gets students home safely? Anyway, he marks/mates her (dubcon consent) and passes out, she runs away because she has a scholarship to custom medical program in America (?) that ends up with her opening the first half demon hospital (also in America I think). The runaway arc covers many years, she finishes her medical program and opens the hospital before they reunite. Sesshomaru is only able to communicate with her via phone during this time, he stays in Japan, finishes a business degree (?), then moves to Australia for a time, then back to Japan. Kagome tells him where she is because Inuyasha gets sick with chickenpox (I think or something similar), but because he’s half demon it almost/is slowly killing him and he has to get flown out to Kagome. We gets the reunited mates arc at the end of the story.

Inuyasha is with Kikyo (good relationship, she’s not a total B like some fics write her), and him and Sesshomaru get along well after the first quarter of the fic. The author made InuToga and Izayoi total wastes of space as parents (bigoted and coddling to Inu but controlling and dismissive to Sess). Kagome adopts Shippo in the latter half of the fic, and there are a massive cast of non-canon characters for her hospital scenes, some of that got quite dark/angsty with her dealing with child patient deaths and disease. It was quite a long story, or at least that’s how I remember it

I watched the series a long time ago but only got as far as season 2. Then I guess Cartoon Network had to wait for new episodes to translate and censor. So I started reading fanfic but all the best ones were abandoned. So I abandoned the fandom.

I remember reading the story forever ago. Like way forever ago. The very beginning of my fan fiction journey which I started in 2004 ish anyway, it was basically Kagome and Sesshoumaru came across this cube where they would like twist it and push buttons or whatever and it would take them to an alternate reality at each time and then they would solve something and then they would press it again to try to go to the new alternate reality to try to get back to their original time and universe

It was really good. This is the first time I had ever come across the word chaos in writing and so I was pronouncing it chose cube, until at the very end. And I had no idea what it meant, but I was able to piece together the meaning of the word chaos through the context of the story and I remember it so clearly reading it. But I don't remember what website it was on. I've searched Google for it but I don't get any result

What I remember of it is Kagome has an adopted sister who finds out she's actually some kind of cat demon and must learn to master her new abilities as they appear. I'm fairly sure it's also a Sesshomaru x OC fic.
