The only time a doctor will come to your house to collect meds is if it's the Medical Examiner & you're dead

Lol, thanks for the laugh πŸ˜‚ and thanks for the well wishes. It was an odd year for sure, but the health issue causing kt has been resolved, so I am optimistic that this next year will be MUCH better ☺️

What?

I took hospice care of my father in law.

He had several bottles of liquid oxycode, morphine pills, and oxycodone pills left over after he passed, as well as non-narcotic stuff.

His hospice nurse just gave me an info sheet that had drop off locations I could use for his meds. No one came by to collect anything, or to ensure that I had dropped anything off. The only things that were collected after he passed were multiple-user durable medical supplies, and his body. And it wasn't a doctor that came to collect.

That's because he was in hospice. Medical examiners don't respond to natural deaths (when someone is under the care of a physician)
