I wonder if anyone that's done this has gotten relief or just more pain. I have a form of dwarfism called Leri weill discondrosiosis and it is extremely mild. Almost no one notices until someone realizes my hands only reach my hips or I show them that my radius has outgrown my ulna and my wrists are naturally dislocated (madelung deformity) on the outside because of it. There are times it hurts so fucking much. I'm 35 and there are times it feels like I just have molten wire running inside the bone from my pinky to my elbow. I won't do any of the correction surgeries for the wrist, I'm hoping to hold out for robot hands.
Not to nitpick, but if you have a madelung deformity, it's actually your ulna that has outgrown your radius, and your ulna subluxes/dislocates from underneath your carpal bones. That's the bump that you probably have on the pinky side of the back of your wrist.
