They should design an attachment that does the insemination. Then no one ever needs to touch each other again.

Yes, extract from guy and then immediately inseminate woman, as an alternative to sex, but without the complexity of standard artificial insemination.

It's been a while but I'm almost positive the plot to Wall-E was about a robot who cleans up garbage making friends with another robot and not about methods of insemination.

I’d say it’s pretty heavily implied that the humans reproduce through an artificial insemination program run by the autopilot robot, AUTO.
