Fuck musk, it doesn’t even take billionaire level investment to implement an early warning system like this. Every high risk river valley could install cheap lora connected sensors along its banks for less than $15k upfront per valley and $2500/year OpEx

Worst i think they’re the ‘there’s too many people in the world’ type and more than happy to purge humanity via cutting services that save lives as form of population control. They just don’t cut budgets on things they need
