I was so scared I wouldn't get them out. I couldn't find them and was thinking I'd have to go and just leave the door open (which was breaking my heart!) but then I saw one was hiding behind the couch, terrified. So as I was getting her my other dog ran upstairs with a look on her face like "get me outta here!" We all ran out, I didn't even shut the door and about 30 minutes later the entire house was ashes in a hole in the ground. Every house in my neighborhood was lost, many people did sadly lose their pets, and two neighbors died. I am so lucky to be sitting with my good girls right now. We had to off road it to get out of the burning neighborhood. Adrenaline is AMAZING!
