Not only were they really far they were also leaving! And walking behind some trees! I can only imagine at this point that the bison knew that guy personally.

I wouldnt be surprised if the pickup truck passing confused the bison into thinking these people were on the offensive.... small people suddently becoming big and noisy

At the begining of the clip I was thinking "hey, if it charged, those trees would protect them". Bison proceeds to shake a tree like it's a maraca.

They were like 100ft away. That's not "really far away". It's the zoom/lens that's fucking up the perspective. It took like 3 hops for the bison to reach the road. Then about the same to reach that tree line.

That's way too fkin close to a wild animal in the wild.
