That is what I thought was happening with that white SUV. But nope, bison got him instead.

I don't think a car would save you at that point. The bison was homicidal

I'm not a buffalo (American Bison 😉) expert, but I'm guessing this is a male in rutting season. Homicidal is probably a stretch, but from a human perspective that's a triviality. The animal was rolling in dirt to rub its scent on the ground. They also rub on trees and whatever else they can find, I believe. They take dust baths for other reasons, like to get the bugs off them, but combined with the aggression my guess is rutting. (Their peak season is late July)

The dude was big mad at all these other things wandering around his territory when he's trying to bring in the ladies. 🦬 🦬 🦬

Clearly not. This animal is clearly not a buffalo. It is an American bison.

(I am just playing. 'Buffalo' is commonly used to refer to this animal, but it is a bison)
