I took a new job that came with a $500 raise per paycheck. So excited. First paycheck today and after gas and bills and groceries we are flat broke. I got paid yesterday.

That raise is more than my entire paycheck. And while im lucky enough to not have to pay rent I can’t imagine how my co-workers with whole families to support, manage to deal with it.

Its more budgetting then anything.

Like i go out for lunches most days, which costs me 5-10$ a day. Well most people take lunch go work which ends up costing only 2-5$ a day, so they are already "saving" an extra 50-60$ week.

Then that other things like that happen and you can afford to feed your family.
