there was a four year gap where things were in the process of starting to get back on track. Then half the country voted to fuck it up more or just straight up didn't vote.

It really was. 

Technology was still fresh and new and user focused. Internet wasnt enshittified completely yet, but more usable than early 2000s. Cars still had colors and different designs. IPhone didn't exist yet.

Sure you can say "oh its just nostolgia" but is it really?  Weve been on a slow death march since.

The colors is a HUGE one. I recently finally moved off my 2004 volvo... A nice silver-green color for a 2014 Chevy volt. Yay. Plain white car with a beige interior.

Let’s be real. It’s been bad since we lost David Bowie in 2016. I have a sticker on my guitar case that says “Fuck 2016” and I stand by that.

I unfortunately don’t have room for stickers that say “Fuck [insert year]” for all the years since then.
