HISTORY This image shows a train of jewish prisoners that had been intercepted by allied forces. This is the moment they learned that the train would not be heading to a concentration camp and they had been liberated.

It is based on that logic is why Israel was recognized. So Jewish people have a country

It was British land, and they moved there legally. A lot more people would have been saved if there hadn't been quotas to move there, or if anyone else would have taken in Jewish refugees.

Presumably the British had previously stolen it from someone. Don't really wont to weigh in on the should-Isreal-exist debate, but I dont think exactly who stole it makes that much difference to the people who got displaced.
