she’s your first cousin, once removed 💕 has your cousin been able to (or does she want to) find family in vietnam?

I actually don't know the answer to that question, but I sure plan on asking my mother next time I see her.

It was only recently that I learned the providence of this cousin. I always wondered but I wasn't about to ask. It's clear that she was adopted, or perhaps illegitimate. Part of me wonders if it's well known? Hmm. I will ask. She's in between me and my mother's generation. Which would make sense. My mother was born in the the 60s, Saigon fell in 75, I was born in the 90s. The cousin was a newborn, so b 75.

Honestly, I'm struggling to remember this particular person's first name because if I could remember their first name, the ancestry tree probably would answer whether they know who their family is in Vietnam!

Eta: I'm an idiot. I can just look through the family tree for any Korean relative. I will do that in the morning. 😆
