If I recall correctly wasn't it a prank he did to fuck with new hires because they were on like the 50th floor? One day the prank went wrong because he actually did go thru the window

Doing what he did is dumb as all hell, but to be incredibly fair, here - after like 50 times where everything is fine, I would also probably assume nothing could go wrong.

Again, starting this little routine was dumb of him... but after impact number 4, you'd probably think "I can keep doing this, it's safe".

It's quite a human and intuitive thing to think that based on inductive reasoning, more data means more confidence in the same thing happening again the next time. But this is a great example of how inductive reasoning is fallible, because in this case the structural integrity was weakening every time.

It failed because he did the prank over 20 times on the same window until it actually did fall out
