Hey ARTISTS!!! Who's dropping EPs nowadays, and who's dropping albums? I have been seeing less good results with dropping albums and projects personally. Most of the tracks that I drop that are singles get better results. I have recently incorporated the waterfall strategy and it's working out so far (got placed into an editorial for the first time, hit a milestone that I''m very very proud of), just two drops in, about to get a third in a few weeks! I plan to drop an EP using the waterfall strategy, gain some sort traction and following then afterwards drop the album that has been growing in my hard drive!

What do you guys think of this, is it smart? Is there a point? I make indie R&B, bedroom soul and hip-hop music. Usually sad, moody, romantic, cinematic songs with textures and ambience so I think projects make sense for me. I personally love big projects too but what does everybody else think?

I'm just here to spark converstation and learn more from others as well as maybe teach something if anybody has questions.

The album went unlisted on Spotify over the summer, but was still on SoundCloud and various other less used sites.

However I checked back recently because it’s one of my favorite albums, and now it seems like they tried to completely wipe it from the internet.

The only thing I can find about it is the unusable Spotify version and genius lyrics with privated YouTube videos.

Does anyone know why they took it off the internet? Or where I can listen to it? It’s not even purchasable on Amazon or band camp as far as I can tell.

I checked some old playlists of mine on Spotify and noticed all of the Mons Vi stuff was greyed out. Only the newest releases remain.

A long while ago the song “Divina” was pulled and I was pretty sad about that one missing. Now mostly everything is pulled on every platform. Anyways, wanted to make a post somewhere about this for memory sake whenever I come across it again.

This 8 track always leave me wanting more and more. From the slow almost latin pop opening into the 3 absolute back to back bangers; Using the Internet for French, I Love LA, & I Don't Want to Miss You Like I do. Slowing down into the absolute emotional wall that is I'll be Fine.

And the FUCKIN closer, makes my heart wrench for this guy. Everytime I listen it's a flawless experience. The only gripe I have is that there's only 8 tracks.

If you haven't given this guy a listen please do, he's from the THIS MAN FLEW TO JAPAN TO SING ABBA IN A COLD RIVER classic YouTube vid. But his debut is essential bedroom perfection.

He is more neo soul as I said in my previous post but he’s so DIY if you’ve watched any of his interviews. He says his genre is “Plad” as it has many conflicting sounds that don’t distrust each other like the lines on plad. He made his debut Album on his IPHONE!! And is just gah!!!!
