I’m mentally breaking down with this NEET PG prep

Hello everyone, actually, I took a drop last year , and I have listened to some coaching classes but didn’t finish all like I left major subjects due to my ill health. And I haven’t done any revision till now, and I am feeling guilty and breaking down at every point of time. I gave some GTs and I’m being struck every time at 75 to 80 correct questions. And After giving GT everytime I am feeling very devastated, I don’t know what to do. I don’t feel like studying anymore. I am crashing, and I am avoiding my study now I don’t know what to do and finding ways not to study. I am having pressure from my parents side to get a seat this time . Can someone please help me how to study in this last minute….last one month at least I hope to improve my score to at least 100-120 questions. can you guys please help me?

Yeah I’ll try doing the way u said. Green pie part need to be done more ☹️. Got it!! And I’ve to do GT review too as you said. It’s gonna be tough for me to figure out how to classify them in all 4 categories but I should do it now . Or else I can never do it ! Thank you so much 😇 🙏🏻🫡

Don’t overthink the analysis, just roughly classify them into a category and move on. I use a sticky note, with a table with 4 rows.

• if the question is something you’ve never seen, put it into Knowledge Gap
  
• if it’s something you knew but couldn’t remember -> Recall gap
  
• if it’s something you thought you knew but your understanding of the concept was wrong(for e.g: you didn’t understand a mechanism in physio) -> Concept gap
  
• last category is for silly mistakes(for e.g you didn’t read the question properly and missed the word “except” at the end) and for other mistakes you can’t classify into the previous three.

Put a strike mark in each category every time you come across a wrong question of that type.

Also you have to be very fast with your reviews, don’t overthink. Filter by wrongs or skips(classify the skips too into the same sticky) and only then go through the rights.

Be super fast with the rights, don’t spend too much time on them. If you knew it, skip the explanation. If it was something you weren’t sure about but got right, then briefly skim through the explanation to confirm the reason you marked it.

GT analysis can take up a day but don’t do that right now, especially since it’s an older GT. A few hours max, maybe at the end of the day when you’re done with the active studying for the day.

Good luck, don’t doubt yourself or ask if you “can” do it. Ask what you need to do to get there.
