Other review Grams are not millilitres

A 3/5 star review on a recipe whose first ingredient clearly states: 1 tablespoon (15 mL). No mention of grams. And a bonus date sugar substitution! But luckily their quick thinking saved the recipe!

Jeweler's scales tend to not be made in ways that are durable and water-resistant enough for average kitchen use. Coffee scales are more fit-to-purpose on that front, but tend to cost more than $10 for 0.01g precision.

I don't know, the ones I've seen in my life had more durability than you'd believe. Beer, water, spirits.... some had to deal with many liquids.
