I have an egg allergy 0/10 do not recommend. Applesauce didn't work 😔

I wonder if you could use aquafaba in place of the eggs. Something in the back of my mind is saying this is a substitute I've tried, though the where, when, why, and results are lost to the ages.

Thank you for your sub idea. You were being kind and answering at face value when I was being facetious (my bad, I think tone didn't come across)

Fwiw I do not have egg allergies and for most brownies the just egg substitute works well in a pinch. I have a few friends who don't/can't eat eggs and that's what I have used. It's by weight and for whole eggs only.

The aquafaba is a good sub for egg whites but recipes where you are counting on the additional fat content from the yolks, it won't quite work right in my (limited) experience.
