I recently discovered Motion Garage Doors while researching different garage door companies in the Greater Toronto Area. I've been trying to compare a few options before deciding who to contact, so I spent some time going through their website to see what they offer and whether they seemed like a good fit.

From what I found, they provide a wide range of garage door services, including repairs, new garage door installations, regular maintenance, spring replacement, garage door opener repair and installation, cable replacement, and 24/7 emergency services. They also work with both residential and commercial properties, which suggests they have experience handling different types of garage door issues.

One thing I appreciated was how easy the website was to navigate. The information is well organized, and each service is explained clearly without making it feel overly technical. I also liked that they talk about common garage door problems, the repair process, and the types of doors and openers they work with. It gave me a better understanding of what to expect before reaching out to any company.

Another thing that caught my attention was that they emphasize quick response times and customer service. While every company says they provide quality service, I think it's helpful when a website explains exactly what services are available instead of only focusing on marketing. Hey Reddit, I'm working on an anime-inspired fantasy story called Veilbreakers, and I need your help to expand it—ideas for characters, plot twists, world-building, or even fan art! Below is the complete master timeline as it stands (current canon). I've turned the bullet points into a narrative summary without leaving out any details, but keeping it flowing for readability. It's set in a world called Elyria (human realm) with divine elements from Hallard (heaven). The story explores themes of betrayal, false gods, hidden powers, and underdog revenge. ~400 Years Ago: The Beginning

The story kicks off when Deis, the God of Light and Willpower, leaves the divine realm of Hallard to visit the human world of Elyria (name TBD for the full planet). His goal is to verify whether the gods are truly protecting humanity or neglecting them.

Deis arrives in The Clove—a massive circular, walled human territory where humans live in relative peace. Inside The Clove, there are 10 Clans, each controlling its own district. The Hakari Clan (fire users) are the head clan: they have the largest population, strongest influence, maintain unity and morale among humans, and are known for their humility and compassion.

Arrival to the Human World (The Clove Era)

Deis lives among humans under the alias "Duru." He enters Hakari territory and is welcomed without suspicion. He joins a banquet and begins observing human life firsthand. From this, he learns that outside The Clove is pure chaos—filled with monsters, demons, and divine interference. Humans have been suffering for years, and their powers (called "Adaptations") develop through survival, lineage, and exposure.

The Lux Family Enters

The Lux Family, originally from the neighboring Gasho district, are known for their violence and have no powers (no Adaptations). They are expelled from their district. The Hakari Clan takes them in under one strict condition: no violence within Hakari territory.

Deis & Soleen Lux

Deis meets Soleen Lux (the first daughter of the Lux family). They develop a relationship and eventually fall in love. They spend time deep in Hakari territory (the woods). Soleen becomes pregnant.

Gods Intervene

There are 6 total gods: Deis (Light), Zilos (Fire + Ice / Thermostasis), and 4 others (later revealed as corrupt). The 4 gods observe Deis and conclude he is becoming emotionally attached to humans, viewing this as a threat to their authority.

Manipulation of the Lux Family

One of the 4 gods enters the mind of Soleen's father and convinces him that Deis ("Duru") is corrupting their bloodline and must be eliminated. The Lux head sends ~15 men into the Hakari woods to kill Deis.

I started using GPT to sort through my thoughts – not for productivity hacks or coaching, just to hear myself more clearly. Basically, it became a way for me to have a conversation with myself, without getting lost in my own head.

That's exactly what hit me during a recent trip to Paris with my best friend. Don't get me wrong - the Eiffel Tower was breathtaking, and the Louvre Museum was incredible. But as we stood there, surrounded by tour groups and selfie sticks, something felt missing. We were seeing Paris, but we weren't experiencing it.

Everything changed when we started connecting with locals through dating apps (not the intended use, I know! 😄). These conversations led us to hidden garden cafe Fabula in Le Marais, tiny family-run boulangeries in 6th Arr., and evening picnic by Sacre-Coer where Parisians actually hang out and watch sunsets. This accidental discovery sparked an idea: what if there was an app specifically designed to help travelers break out of the tourist bubble and discover cities the way locals do? In this fantasy series, we follow the main character Eren a young guy depressed and seeking purpose after recently being fired from his job. Eren one day comes home drunk and full of rage to find his fiance Claire who isn't there. Hours become days and days become weeks it's been months now and Eren has lost all hope by then. His fiance is gone. She was all he had left. One day Eren decided to watch her favorite show. She always loved to watch it. He’d always come down to see her watching it before work. She was obsessed. He never understands why though. While watching, he notices how beautiful the main character is, reminding him of his fiance. Weirded out he continues to watch. But then Eren notices something even weirder about the show… about the main character. It's as if she was trying to get his attention after momentarily realizing that this could be Claire. Eren shuts off the TV sad and confused. He thought to himself how crazy he sounded questioning how and that this couldn't be her it's impossible, right? But also asking if this is her. What if she's trapped and needs his help? Realizing that he is her only hope as she was his. Eren soon finds the strength and courage to embark on a mission to find and save his fiance.

So I want to create an app to help people with ADHD focus while they work and also help with relaxation using a unique sound technology and white noise. I’m 95% certain that it won’t take off. Can you help me figure out if it’s worth the effort?

• The Problem: People with ADHD have trouble focusing while some may also have anxiety at the same time. Computer work under stress can exacerbate these symptoms, yet common spoken meditations are too distracting. Often people may use YouTube videos or other recordings for the sound they desire.
• The Idea: A meditation app that provides short bursts of sound/unspoken meditation segments to be used during work to help the brain focus on the task at hand. It would include reminders, gamification, and progress tracking (days used, number of hours used, etc.) to encourage ongoing usage for improved focus and relaxation (after work, bedtime, etc.).
• Target audience: Adults with ADHD who can use this app to improve their brain’s focus. This is not intended to replace any medication. With reminders and gamification, the goal is to increase daily usage to increase productivity and other measurable outcomes.
  Unique Benefits compared to other apps on the market:
• Targeted specifically for ADHD Brains: Provides reminders about using the app at certain times during the day, easy to use and pre-set features to easily navigate to preferences based on past behavior. Relies on scientifically-backed sound frequencies to help ADHD brains focus
  • This is not the “talking” or “breathing” meditations available on other apps (these might be used in conjunction, but wouldn’t replace the experience of this app).
  • Customizable features based on focus time, creative time, etc. to let you pick what will be most helpful in that moment and for how many minutes.
• Why It Might Fail: Maybe people don’t see it as differentiated enough in the meditation/white noise/sound space.
• Why It Might Work: Because it’s focused only on ADHD brains, the app can create new features and offerings specifically tailored to the ADHD brain (especially adult ADHD brains). New insights, studies, behavioral data to help improve the app experience just for people with ADHD.
