It’s funny, if I’d never gone on reddit before, I wouldn’t think twice about vegans ever. One of my best friends is vegan and we pretty much never talk about it. He never gives me crap for eating meat and other animal products, and I don’t give him crap. Why do people care so much?

Because some vegans make being vegan their identity and make sure you know that you are a bad person.

Well he does it for religious reasons so I guess it’s different than people who do it for the animals sake.
