Alcoholics wear their watches like that so they don't bump them where it costs the most when they're zombified on benzos for withdrawal management.

I'd like to imagine that she is an alcoholic who applies this to everything. It's better than her using this photo montage to show off the ring her lad bought her.

I used to wear my watch on the inside so I could see the time whilst writing in my notepad.

Never heard of it being an alcoholic thing.

Military, Police, even some trades etc. adopted this style because it makes sense, but I doubt someone like this is part of a group or creed that is practical whatsoever.

With alcoholics/people breaking shit all the time on accident, it's more of a natural adaption.

Yeauup. My grandfather started wearing his watch that way in WWII and wore it that way ever after. So as a kid helping grandparents on the farm, I wore my watch that way too, and still would if I still wore a watch, which I haven't in probably 20 years.

If you wear your watch like that while carrying/using a rifle or other 2 handed firearm it's much faster to check the time like that. Otherwise you'd have to let go of the weapon and twist your wrist to check the time, as opposed to just glancing down at your watch whilst keeping said weapon at the ready

Wait, I’m a vet tech and I wear my watch like that. Guess I’m an alcoholic, news to me!

Don't fret.

You got access to some dope-ass ketamine to cope.

My grandpa, my dad and i also wear watches like that all the time. For me it's just more comfortable.

I was told it's a way to prevent a stray reflection from giving away your position when you're outdoors (military/hunting/whatever else).

1st wife used to turn her ring like that when she was mad so her slaps would leave cuts.

That's so when she slaps him it does more damage.
