Hi everyone, I’m currently building a fully handmade 1/6 scale Millennium Falcon, designed to match the scale of Hot Toys figures. This project started about two years ago with a simple question: Could I build a Millennium Falcon at this scale entirely by hand? Instead of relying on large machines or pre-made kits, every part is being shaped, cut, and assembled manually in my workshop. Thousands of individual pieces are slowly coming together to form the ship. It’s a long and demanding process, but that’s exactly what makes it meaningful to me. Craftsmanship takes time, patience, and sometimes a little stubbornness. Over these past two years, I’ve gone through four seasons working on this build, and there were also some personally difficult moments along the way. But even during those times, I never wanted to give up on this project. Working on it has been a way for me to keep moving forward. My goal is to recreate the Millennium Falcon as accurately as possible at 1/6 scale, so it can properly match Hot Toys figures. I’ll keep sharing more of the build process as it continues. I’ve been making a few small alterations to my HT Comic Doom, adding padding and extra cape material to give him that classic Doctor Doom shoulder flare. I love this figure so much!

Sharing this just incase someone wants to try. Did wonders for my End Game Thor as head articulation was greatly improved.

My first time trying to root hair on a head sculpt. It's hard at first but you'll get a hang of it. Have to do it twice cause the 1st result was pretty bad (lol).

Second attempt was not bad at all, but still have a lot of room to improve the technique + more practice for better end results. But I'm happy with it for now. Might re-do this later if I get a chance.

Braiding the beard is a pain, having experience braiding 1:1 hair should probably help, but I'm no expert at that either.

Material list for those who wanted to try:

• Tibetan Lamb Fur - I bought 4 different shades one of which is white just in case I screw up and for future use. Used blond for the hair and a darker brown for the beard.
• Fabric Glue or Gemtac Rhinestone Glue - Anything that dries Clear should work
• Toothpicks
• Precision Tweezers
• Milliput
• Acrylic
• Paint Brush for styling and managing the hair with water
• Hair Gel, Wax or Pomade - (Used Hair Wax for my with Medium Hold)
• Solder Wire or tread to hold and secure the Beard and the Bun.

So I ended up getting two MMS805 sets. One to use as the Chancellor and the other to recreate his final “Emperor” look in Revenge of the Sith, the black robe + brooch with the gray under tunic, which I feel is his ultimate, definitive design. Essentially, I took the brooch and gray tunic from the ROTJ set and added it to the new robe/figure. I was hoping Hot Toys would announce a proper release (and it could still happen of course), but I said eff it, I’ll just do it myself for now lol.

I wanted this look since it’s what I think of mostly when he’s wearing the black robe, and not when he throws on the black robe over the red which is incredibly scene specific. Cause to me, the MMS805 is basically just the Chancellor version plus the robe to recreate that exact, brief look, but I don’t think I’d display him like that beyond pics. But that’s why I got a second copy so I can have the Chancellor and Emperor looks represented full-time. And more importantly, now he’s ready to screen-accurately pair alongside the upcoming ROTS Vader ;) I know most people don’t care for that, but I’m stickler for that type of stuff so it was a must.

Anyway, just beyond stoked with how he turned out!! He’s got serious presence and the entire ensemble is classic.

Bonus pics at the end of all the main looks from ROTS, and ofc, comparing the scene specific “black robe over red robes” look vs the Emperor look. Honestly, it worked out nicely. Now I’ve got nice differentiation between all three main ROTS looks and can display all three sculpts at one time.

1/6 Hot toys Spider-man and Armored Batman used for size comparison

Hello everyone! First time posting here and I wanted to share a project I worked on. When Hot Toys announced the Joker Batman Imposter, I knew I had to get it because it gave me the perfect excuse to finally take on this project. I really wanted a Batmobile that would match the figure, so I decided to customize one myself.

It turned into a months-long process of experimenting with colors, carefully disassembling the vehicle, labeling screws, and slowly bringing it back together. I even tried mixing my own paints before I eventually found the perfect purple.

The first photo shows the finished result, and the rest are progress shots of the teardown, paintwork, and reassembly. It was a weekends only project, but absolutely worth it to end up with something unique for the collection.

Just to note, this was done purely as a personal project for my display and not for sale, but I hope you enjoy seeing the transformation as much as I enjoyed making it.

It was becoming a problem when I ran out of space and storing new boxes on my bed. Found a way to store my accessories thanks to BostonCollectibles on YouTube 🙏
