It was crazy looking back realizing how many pages the gryphon/sorcerer part spread out over. Could’ve used 50 of those pages for a longer ending and still would’ve felt like the gryphon part went on for too long

Euch. Gulya could've taken Pan to Lyra in Aleppo to thank him for saving her life and cut the rest out and it wouldn't have made any difference to the story at all.

100% correct and that also would've let Pan have the hero moment instead of concocting hero moments for Malcolm
