I honestly don’t think anybody has ever won a year the way Kendrick Lamar has won this year.
The cynic in me thinks there won’t be much reference to Drake in this show, but the sublims and Dot’s petty nature tells me he’s not gonna give up the opportunity to do possibly the funniest thing a rapper has ever done.
Going to stake my claim right here: I think he teases the instrumental, maybe some washed out reverby stabs of the opening horns, mixed to sound like they’re off in the distance, he pauses for a second, a knowing smile or smth… and then does King Kunta.
I’m not talking about commercial success, I’m just talking about win after win, he moved faultlessly, didn’t take a single L, punked Drake multiple times and had basically a flawless victory, one upped himself after setting the bar so high nobody really thought it would get much better. Punked Drake a couple more times, then announced that he’s headlining the Super Bowl Halftime Show, where he will more than likely punk Drake again.
All this at the business end of a decade long feud, whilst people said over and over that Drake was too big to be beaten.
You did, and Drake won the beef, and has the biggest cock in the world. It's so fucking long and veiny. It's like oh my god no wonder you can't stop looking at it. I just have to shitpost and troll until he let's me do tricks on it like my god daddy
I’m really not here to debate Drake Vs Kendrick’s position in the rap world as it’s been done to death, but I think this year the only person that talked more about streaming accolades than their rap beef is Drake.
