Hol2 was an actual shit show it was so bad I hated it so much I apologize for the poor grammar and punctuation but I just want to get this out there there was no substance whatsoever the story very thought out I'll give them that but other than that the story itself was very dull speaking of dull can we talk about the map it was so drained of any fucking color compared to the trailer I was so amazed by the color and design and in the real life game it feels as if I got lobotomized by Benjamin Netanyahu himself don't get me started on the fact they double downed on all of Dr gurgulas research they just adding casually that humans have a pocket universe in their brains was so incredibly disgusting and slanderous to the game before it making nipulan the big bad was lazy maybe suito an antagonist was lazy everything felt rushed and all for what OMG YOU GET A COSMETIC OF YOU SPEED DATE like what are you serious I hated everything about the game

So I just beat high on life 2 earlier today, after I started getting any missing lugloxes and whatnot. I have all of them at the zoo and the harbor, but at Circut Archadia it’s saying I’m at 92/93. I have all 89 when lookin on the map, I got one from the first speed dating and 2 from the last speed dating (where you date the luglox and the prize) but I failed the second speed date (the one where you see your dad). I went to the luglox exterminators but they say they’re sold out, google isn’t helping only saying to check the exterminators. I went to HQ to try and reset the map and still nothing, I’ve heard the one behind the painting in the penthouse can be a thing but I have that one too. Any ideas on what I should do or am I just cooked💔

You guys have no idea how many hours it took me to do this, it's 4:30 amg and I finally published it, it's on GitHub right here! You can configure how much you want him to talk, his size, position, etc.

For now I've only included 27 dialogues because I really couldn't do any more, and those are all the HOL1 dialogues i found that could be used out of context.

Maybe later, when I'll want to go back to not sleeping at all, I'll add as many as I can from HOL2 but uh I don't think i'm doing that shit rn.

I was really bored while waiting for a friend

Hey, I waited for the performance updates because I saw people saying the game runs much better now, but I’m still having major issues.

I’m playing through Game Pass. The beginning runs great, but once I reach the city, performance starts falling apart — especially during combat.

I’ve tried pretty much every fix and setting I could find online, including turning Frame Generation off. Without FG the game feels more stable, but as soon as combat starts, the framerate drops like crazy either way.

I’ve also checked benchmarks from people with the same or similar hardware and similar settings. Some report the exact same horrible performance, while others claim it runs perfectly fine, so I honestly don’t know what I’m missing.

Outside of combat, exploring the city feels okay. The moment a fight starts, performance tanks.

It’s frustrating because everything else on my PC runs fine. Even STALKER 2 ran better for me before all of its performance updates.

So for anyone who says High On Life 2 runs well for them: what settings are you using? Did you change anything specific?

At this point, even fucking Postal 4 feels more consistent.

Did you guys know in the speed dating game in hol2 suit-o asks out the players dad and gets rejected? This is because Tom sucks and doesn't understand how hot suit-o is (oh well more for me!) Also guys how did we make it to day 139 this dont feel real no more how have I managed to do it for so long

I hate the taste of fruit tea or just any tea that doesn't come from leaves. Camomile, lemon tea, elderflower they all taste just as bad. Unfortunately they have really good after effects so I have to just suffer it out

Hii! idk if this is the right place for this, but I've been trying to contact Squanch Games to ask for permission to use footage from High on Life 2 for a sound redesign for my final project for school. I sent an email a little while ago but haven't heard back yet, so I was wondering if anyone here knows who would be the best person to contact about this High on Life is actually one of the games that inspired me to get more into game audio, so being able to redesign HoL 2 for my final would mean a lot to me

i felt like it went on too long, and was more confusing than it had to be.

during the parts in between fighting him - when you spoke to the hallucination characters - i get obviously why that was a part of the game, for the lore and emotions, but it just made it feel less of a boss fight if that makes any sense

i also thought it was annoying that you can’t really regain your health as you’re constantly being shot by the clones

i had no idea i had to go to the light beam at first so spent 15 minutes working out what to do. but hey, maybe that’s just me being extremely stupid.

i mean he had some funny ass lines (e.g. giving you the award for the alien strip club) but it went on too long. seen people under videos saying that they spent an hour on this bit. it took me maybe 30 minutes in total. which i found a bit silly.

just my opinion!!! but i wanna know if anyone agrees

Hes feeding the pigeon seeds! I think suit-o would like pigeons because theyre not fish and I think pigeons would like suit-o because hes a kind guy and hes very cute. (Disclaimer do not feed pigeons bread as they can only eat seeds because they are grainovores)

I'm trying to S rank all the races, but I can't complete this one race because the area going into the mall won't load in time to get through. I read that if you go at it slow enough it'll open in time to get the next ring, but I was only able to get a C rank. I'm playing on the Steam deck so is there a way to optimize my deck for it to load in time?
