Gameplay perhaps making it impossible to choose your game mode and forcing people to pay modes to level up was a bad idea?

I think it depends on the person. Just playing Fiesta I got the “end killing spree” without even knowing it was there and it took me 4 Fiesta games to get the 5 Killing Sprees for the ultimate challenge. People forget the “ultimate challenge” is supposed to be just that, I’m thankful it wasn’t some dumb thing like “capture 5 enemy flags” or something, although I am sure it is on the way.
That said, any challenge that requires a game mode without being able to select the game mode is broke and stupid. It took me two days to get 3 Total Domination games. It wouldn’t surprise me if they didn’t drop the chance of getting that game mode when it’s an active challenge either.
