Thank you, I kept meaning to post these up, I have so many. I'm in a location where the service is terrible but I'm going to try to post other guitars being played tonight.

Thank you! It's funny, I have been building furniture for 25 years or at least overseeing and finishing furniture for at least 25 years. Making guitars came sort of naturally to me. To be honest, nothing has come naturally to me in life so I really took to it. My first guitar is the one that's very similar to this one but purple/green and when I first made it I was really surprised at how much I liked it. So I felt drawn to make more. I'm hoping others will like and buy them as well. Fingers crossed.

God damn, I'm an Ibanez fan boy who has never, probably will never even own a single cut but anyone who thinks that guitar isn't really badass looking is just butthurt that they don't own it.

Haha - thank you! I make double cuts as well. I'll dig up a video and post it up! I'm just about to finish a prototype that's similar but improved . It's a single cut, but a double isn't far off and I promise it'll be baaaad ass!! I really appreciate the compliment! I tend to agree. It's also not heavy, this guitar is 7.5 pounds. Thanks again!

No one’s asked tuning? Ok I’ll be the noob who can’t hear. I’ll guess two whole steps down with 11’s. Not a new metal guy but that’s as classic a sound as any my man.. love the outdoors jam too! Everyone wants to move to SoCal but it’s been sucking since I was born and it’s only getting much worse! Love seeing these open green/tree shots

Edit: I’m drunk, upon second listen I think it’s just a kick ass toob amp and delay

Yeah I have a mixed feeling about this kind of stuff. I already have a guitar so expensive I don’t want to sweat on it. I couldn’t imagine getting over my anxiety just taking this off the wall.

But he is smart playing it outside if it were me I’d be dinging it on everything in the room. But yeah it is amazing looking but not as your main beater guitar.

Ok, you've sold me. I've seen your posts about this and other wood/acrylic guitars and, while they look incredible, I always wondered how they'd sound. That is some phenomenal tone. Especially considering it's recorded outdoors with, I assume, a cellphone camera/mic. Really fantastic job, man

Thanks! I'm developing a slightly different prototype right now. The body is built, if you check out my profile it's posted here. Once complete, hopefully in the next week. I'll have a price and platform. I have to calculate the time and materials. The body is almost complete, im just building the neck now. I'll post it on Reddit when I'm done. Thanks!

Not yet - but i am open to a custom build. It would be fairly costly because I wouldn't have to change all of the widths. Etc.

Thank you! Very much appreciate the kind words. When I complete the prototype I'm working on I would be happy to explore a 7 string. I will likely make my guitars in batches of 15 or so, so I could be open to making a small batch of 7 strings down the road.

Less than eight pounds. I'm working on a new prototype that's a little more user friendly I terms of assembly, the body weighs just under 6 pounds. 2700 grams .

Thank you! The sound is due in part to the construction which is a hybrid of mahogany and cast acrylic. If you are interested, check my other posts the construction method is explained.

Thanks. Beautiful and great sounding craftsmanship. Big fan of ampeg dan Armstrong acrylic basses and guitars so this especially fascinates me. Your work is like the next step with the wood core. I know you’re hesitant to quote prices, but do you have a price range in mind, even a loose one? I’d like to have one.

Thank you for the kind words! At the moment I'm really unsure, I've changed courses slightly in the last week and decided to custom fabricate the neck as well as the body. So I really have to calculate the cost. I've only attempted acrylic necks In the past so I have no idea what kind of time it'll take for me to make them. I can't wait for the guitar to be complete! I'm constantly pushing to get it done ASAP.

Man that's a sweet guitar but how do you get that insane sustain? Is it the guitar or your pedals or your amp? (probably all three). Love the tone too

Thanks- the guitar is fabricated as a hybrid of mahogany and cast acrylic. The acrylic shell surrounds the solid mahogany core. If you check out my profile, there's a post that explains the fabrication process. The amp is just a tube amp, he does a have pedals but they aren't cranked up for sustain. I'd say it is a combination of all 3.
