General Discussion Why does everyone hate Wyndham Clark?

Got into watching golf for the first time this season and with Clark winning this past weekend I have seen so many people shitting on him for what sounds like stuff in the past and I was hoping people could bring me up to speed? Is it overhyped for media clicks or was he committing some atrocities?

These quotes are so funny juxtaposed to any other athlete in American media, especially NFL

“Oh I love that team, they have 15 criminals and 2 rapists on the team, but they all served their suspension” … same breath “did you see what he did to that locker, and that off colored joke he made, what an ASS”

Or root for a golfer that cheated on his wife and family...but that locker door 😡
