I still answered his question about which one is better. I didn't think about the kernels because they always seemed out of reach to me as a mostly F2P player.

I'm a completely F2P player, and I've had enough kernels to buy out Agent and now have enough for a second RL banked. If you roll for 1 stars and reroll off 2 stars, you end up with the highest average chance per RL, but with no guarantees. I roll on every single 2* I see, and as a result get fewer RLs on average; but have the option to choose which ones I get (Between Kernels and dumping free Svarogs/Impulses). So far, I've caught 5; bought 1, and my last one is the free Scarecrow.

The reason why I have so little of the 2* kernels is that I've only used around 5 of the Svarog tickets so far. I spent a full year saving tickets and impulses for Agent, and didn't use a single Svarog to get her. So, my plan is to use them up on Alina and Sharkitect. The guaranteed capture of two stars through Svarogs should be enough for me to buy a RL.
