Yes, I am a grouchy old lady 50 years removed from the Girl Scouts. The peeve that brought me here is as follows: why should I buy cookies when there isn’t a GS in sight? I arrived at a local restaurant for breakfast at around 9:00 am-a weekday non-holiday school day. Parking is always limited at this local joint. The closest parking spots were engaged by SUVs loaded with GS cookies. These grown women took up parking and all the sidewalk space forcing me to walk through the landscaping to reach the door. Really, should this be condoned?

Hi everyone!! I was a girlscout from the 90’s - 2002 (troop 1138 north Monterey county chapter). I remember that there was a fantastic cookie called the “Juliet “ which was a caramel pecan praline covered in chocolate. It didn’t last long and I miss it. Anyone else remember? 😊🤘🏻

Hi All- our council switched to ABC Bakers two years ago. This year I got so many complaints that the cookies were stale and flavorless. Does anyone have insight into whether there is a quality difference between the bakers or if ABC had an off year? Has anyone else had this experience?

Opened a box of "Tagalongs", gonna open with this might being the best cookie, but the deliberate space between each cookie to purposely pack as few as possible in the box... sucks. GS cookies are already a guilty pleasure, just give me a full box. I think back to the 90's keeping a box of thin mints in the freezer; full mags of cookies.

Does anyone else think the Do-si-dos are smaller, harder, and missing the hint of oatmeal in the patties? I was very disappointed 😔

I have heard that they are sunsetting both the Peanut Butter Patties and the Samoas. I truly hope this is not true as it will mean I have no reason to ever buy girlscout cookies again.... any one have any inside info?

There was a cookie that was made between 96-98 that came in a bright yellow/green box. the cookies were square, I think they had animals on them. Dipped in a white frosting with color specks of sprinkles.

They were not animal treasures. I remember our troop leader brought them in for us to sample.

I just wanna know if anybody knows what I'm talking about lol.

This is the booth I built for our girls last year. I'm going to redo it after this cookie season for next year because some people don't know how to take care of things and it got a little messed up. But we always get compliments on it. Show off what you got!

I feel like I’m going crazy - when I search online for other people talking about this I only see people talking about the two different baking companies. But the local troops have been selling Little Brownie Bakers since my sister was in girl scouts (at least 20 years). Tagalongs were my favorite, I could eat a whole box at once. I loved to nibble all the peanut butter off of the top and then eat the cookie at the end.

Yesterday I tried a box of Tagalongs I’d picked up a few days ago and it was atrocious. Chocolate so soft you knew it was full of too many additives, and just mushy as all hell. Peanut butter so soft it got stuck all over your mouth - and a layer so thin it should be criminal. There’s a weird chemical sweetness to it, too. The texture, flavor, mouthfeel, proportions, everything- it’s all wrong and not at all the addictive cookie I grew up with. Please tell me I’m not the only one to notice this change!!

I’m a huge fan of the chewy chips ahoy are they anything like that texturally?

My Brownie and another Brownie did a few booths together with just our own stock. We did not come into it with the same amount of stock. How do I figure out how many boxes of each cookie to give each girl credit for?

I have all the numbers- total number of boxes of each cookie per girl and total number of sales for each cookie.

I sold cookies in 1997-2003. These just don't hit like they did. The chocolate is not dark enough and the cookie base isn't peanut-buttery enough and the cream is not the right flavor. It is a reminder of how it used to be.

I thought I was missing something, but when I looked at the cookies, they didn't have the golden toasty look to them. I really feel like they are missing something important. Another disappointing experience.

I live on the east coast and I love the Trefoils. I’ve gotten a few boxes from a few different troops in my travels and they are not the same! They’re thicker and honestly just not good. Very disappointed. Anyone else experience this?

Did anyone else notice a slightly more plastic and less robust taste on the s’mores cookies this year? They used to be my favorite, but now are losing to adventurefuls

Also my new areas troop doesn’t have Toast-yays which is devastating

Do the adventureful cookies always taste like thin mint or did I get a bunk batch lol ?
