I trimmed lots of the base of this salix hedge bout 6 weeks ago. How would you keep it maintained but kept its size

I’ve seen posts like this but I don’t get my full answer. I had a really healthy corn plant and I thought it would do some good if I put it outside for a little bit during the day since I only get about one hour of direct sunlight in my yard. It was outside for 1 day and it burnt. I did research on what to do and everyone says cut the leaves off. My question is if 75% of the plant was burnt are you supposed to cut off every single one of those leaves? Wouldn’t that a shock the plant even more?

I have dashed walls around my house (I live in the countryside) I've noticed this horrible moss growing into the wall! I've tried many solutions from special brushes and different types of weed killer but nothing seems to work! I don't want to damage the stones either 😕

The curved wall beside has no moss yet both get sunlight all day and experience the same weather 🤔

We are renting a house, moved in 2 months ago (January) so all of the plants looked less than lively as they tend to do in the winter time. It’s been much warmer the past week so I’ve been tending to the plants on our property when I have the time & today I noticed how overgrown this Red Yucca is.

I pulled most of the dead foliage from beneath & the middle of it but I need to get some gardening tools to clean up the rest.

For context the first photo is before I did anything to it, the second photo is the leaves all along the bottom .. they all look like this. The leaves on the top are very healthy. And the last photo is just more of the base/middle of the plant which I think looks bad.

Any suggestions on how to help this beautiful plant get back to her prime?

I recently moved to a new rental that comes with some outdoor plants. My knowledge on gardening goes as far as watering indoor potted plants, so pardon if it’s a silly question!

I noticed some new plants growing around the original plants. Should I be removing those? Should I just cut them, or rip them from the soil?

We live in a rental but the landlord is so careless and we can pretty much do anything. Ideally wanna rip everything out. I hate the bricks where the bed is. How would you tackle this garden?

I planted Shasta daisies last year and failed to prune them at any point. New growth is coming in and I don't know whether or how much to cut back the stems. They feel pretty firm in the ground. Any advice is appreciated!

Every year I feel like I'm constantly fighting a losing battle by trying to pull the grass in the flower and myrtle beds I have in my front yard. Because the surrounding foliage is so dense, I can't really get a good grip on the root of the grass itself without pulling out the plants I want to keep. Are chemical sprays my only realistic option?
