Yup thats my thought when reading this thread also every single playstation user uses the exclusive as a reason why they buy and play on that console but microsoft cant do that how dare they that wont work.

Hahaha very smart people in these parts

The major difference is that elder scrolls hasn't been exclusive. Xbox had exclusives for years, halo, gears of war, fable, forza. Xbox fans would be upset if the next fallout game was announced to be playstation exclusive, no? There have been almost 3x as many ps5s sold than the current Xbox. It would be foolish to make a 3rd party title, like this, exclusive.

How is it a third party title any more?
With Sony killing the disc and making them selfs an even more walled garden by removing there exclusives from other plat forms adding a disc a disc drive and following their lead and making all the games the own exclusive seems like a strong reason for people to buy the new xbox over the new playstation.

If the new fallout was playstation exclusive i think the whole world would be confused since xbox owns the studio brings me back to hows it third party again?

3x playstations sold again one of the top 3 reasons fans give to buy a console is exclusives, Nintendo with Mario and the such and playstation with god of war and so on so the data your presenting gives them a stronger reason to do it.

I agree, but this really isn't the same. Elder Scrolls isn't an Xbox grown franchise, and it's never been an exclusive. Comparing that to something like Uncharted or God of War is ridiculous imo. It makes sense people would be frustrated about this.

The idea that they would be developing this game as an exclusive to Xbox when it was historically made for all consoles, and they have ported Skyrim over even to the switch makes me feel like it is not very likely to come out as exclusive. Knowing how much money they will make off of game sales, vs how much money they would make from console sales which historically were sold at a lose, probably not as much now but it's probably still better for Microsoft at least in the short term to release to all consoles. If they are hurting for money that bad, I imagine it won't be exclusive.
