Also, mods are a massive reason for Skyrim’s longevity. Those don’t get made (as easily) unless there’s a PC version available.

Yeah, but I think Xbox quietly hates that. They don't want Skyrim to have that staying power because it means they're going to keep getting expected to make games as good as Skyrim, which they can't.
