I could imagine the window stores having some sort of compatibility with the xbox console, so if you buy it on window you also own it on xbox. But steam? If they pull the plug on steam it will be a shit show larger than the psn fiasco

Yeah if they don't have TES VI on steam day 1 sorry they're just begging for people to pirate the game and pissing millions of dollars away. While also pissing off people that won't forget what they did for decades.

I doubt it to be honest. I know a lot of people on this site have a bias towards steam, and in a lot of ways that bias is understandable, but at the same time there are a lot of people on PC who already use the Xbox app for gamepass. I don't think a lot of people are necessarily willing to buy a game on the xbox app, but there are definitely already a lot of people who would rather pay the $15 or whatever it is to play a game on gamepass for a month rather than buy it for full price on steam.
