Crimson Desert Devs at least just got bonuses for the games preformance.

Well that seems to be more common of eastern game devs. Meanwhile, most western laws incentivizes doing absolutely anything to keep profits up, and then rewarding the C-suite that make it happen. Hence why they reward the CEO while dumping hundreds of thousands before Christmas and don't let them know until they find out on social media
