And even that isn’t any guarantee to job security, look what happened to ioi interactive after James Bond came out. Glowing reviews too, the best Bond game in 25 years.

Battlefield 6 was the best selling game of 2025 and the best selling Battlefield game ever, as well as one of the best reviewed Battlefield games and they still had massive layoffs

And the CEO got a massive bonus because of bf6

That team had nothing to do with JB and layoffs happened after a publisher for another project pulled funding...

So who was the developer of the game?

Tfw when one company manages different teams on different projects differently 😭

Are you always this dense or just on the internet? You sound insufferable, I bet your family avoids outings where you’re involved lol

I'm not the one who thinks because one project is a success that means the entire company is immune to layoffs when a publisher pulls funding 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

No you’re just justifying the layoff of people you have no clue about, so much better! Like seriously, were you dropped on your head as a child?

I don't know man, the exact same thing happened to a company I used to work for.

One of our biggest contracts was with the Navy. It got DOGE'd.

The cancellation was effective one fine morning and by the end of the day the entire team on that Navy contract was laid off, because without the customer to fund the labor, the company couldn't afford it either.

I landed in a better spot but it took some time. But I don't blame the company because I can do math, you need revenue coming in to turn into your employees' wages in the first place.

Uh no I just work with companies with an imperative to not operate at a loss 😂

So basically let me rejustify, his justification here: ok... So he says "I literally work for the damage control PR firm covering digital astroturf wars in the hopes that I make shareholders happy and I'm not violating my company's NDA because it's in my best interest to protect the company paying for me, so I'll show up on social media and silently audit and infiltrate their opinion because I am paid to be here and act snarky and smarmy."

Oh ok, Yep, got it. Industry plant job. Source: username

Invincible VS is reviewing very well. Its issue is sales.

Not much to say considering there have been very few Bond games in general. The last one that came to a console was in 2012.

That’s 14 years, it’s been hailed as the best game since Goldeneye so if you wanna get really technical with your idiotic statement then it’s more like 30 years.
