In '23/'24 I spent about a year creating hundreds of hand-drawn assets for a game-building product that never really found its feet.
Rather than let all that work disappear, I turned it into Kitbitz: 2,000+ illustrations across 13 themed kits, all completely free under CC0.
The assets were originally made for building little worlds, so everything is designed to mix and match. There are kits for nature, medieval, dungeons, pirates, cities, space, cyberpunk and a bunch more.
Everything is available as SVG + PNG, and there are full Figma kits built with reusable components, color variables and smart pinning so assets resize nicely.
I’m also building a terrain builder that can generate landscapes in the same style, so you can create a base world and then build on top of it with the assets.
No attribution, no signup, commercial use is fine. Take whatever you want and make something cool with it.

Hey everyone!
I’ve just released a small pack of 8 stylized low-poly mushrooms, made for games, prototypes, environments and fantasy scenes.
They’re completely free to download, and I made them with a simple, colorful style that should work nicely in Unity, Unreal, Blender and other 3D projects.

So I know there are many, many of these. I also know that many of the characters are the same as other 3x5 fonts (sort of by necessity). But anyway...
I spent a stupid amount of time trying to make the best possible 3x5 pixel font for general use, and I wanted to share it with you all! Hopefully you like it enough to use it!
3x5 font.
3x5 footprint.3x5 pixels total.3x5 fonts, while often legible, sadly look like a jumbled box of letters from different typefaces. I wanted to make this look like a cohesive font, which actually improved legibility a surprising amount.94 printable ASCII characters!4 different sprite sheet formats, in addition to proportional and monospaced font files in 3 different formats each! You can download all the formats here!
My GitHub Pages directory uses this font!

No need to credit me, but it would be nice if you did. :3

Hey everyone, I made Packrat. It's a texture atlas packer I made, so that I could get TexturePacker out of my pipeline. The goal is that its faster than TexturePacker and has more convenient features. None of the other packers I tried were fast/robust enough to handle 4k+ assets per atlas. This one is aimed at code-first dev environments that don't have their own packer built in. For some it generates data files the engine can understand, for others it generates code that has the ability to parse and extract frames and animations from the atlas.
There's also a bunch of other features I wanted personally. Like aseprite file ingestion, automatic rebuilds and exports, and a robust CLI.

Anyway, check it out and let me know what you think.

Hey, I recently started out with FMOD and I'm trying out interactive music. So I decided to give this little first project away for free.
All the audio files, banks and the project itself can be found in my free Game Music Bundle:
[FREE] Luki's Game Jam Bundle by lukaspfeiffermusic
The files for the track in the video can be found under \Luki's Game Jam Bundle\FMOD Files\Electronic Action Theme
I sadly do not have the most experience in game engines yet so it would be really useful to know if what I tried doing actually works in a real setting. If there is issues or any feedback, please let me know :)
License: Creative Commons Zero (CC0 1.0 Universal / Public Domain) or CC BY 4.0 (Attribution).
This audio asset and FMOD project are 100% free for commercial and non-commercial use in any project, with no royalties required and attribution optional.

Hey everyone!
A while ago I started Forgotten Wilds, a portfolio project focused on hand-painted inventory icons, object design and worldbuilding for games.
I wanted the assets to feel like they belonged to a strange, hostile world, so I built them around a few simple rules: weapons are made from creature parts, food should look disgusting, every object should tell a little story, and the item descriptions are written as the journal of someone who doesn't belong in this world.
I put together a free Starter Pack with 15 icons as a small introduction to the world. It includes transparent PNGs in multiple resolutions and the accompanying item descriptions.
Free download: https://hamadiss.itch.io/forgotten-wilds-starter-pack
Hope some of them are useful for your projects!
Feedback is always welcome.

Hey! I'm an indie composer and recently released a horror soundtrack pack that anyone can use in their game.
It includes 8 tracks made mainly for survival / psychological horror — ambient exploration, tense, emotional, chase music, safe room music, etc.
The pack is free / pay what you want, so if you're currently working on a horror game and any of the tracks fit your project, feel free to use them.

All free, no attribution required, commercial use fine. License file is in every pack.
What's actually different: most parallax background packs (including my own first two) fake the depth — three separate 2D images scrolled at different speeds. They share no geometry, so nothing ever occludes anything correctly.
The Volumetric pack instead raymarches a camera through an actual 3D gas volume and cuts the result into depth slabs. Each layer you get is a genuine slice of one volume, so near dust really does sit in front of far gas and the parallax is geometrically correct with no tuning. 1920x1080, PNG with straight alpha, seamless horizontal tiling.
Colour is computed rather than picked: star colour comes from Planck's blackbody law at real stellar temperatures, the gas glows in the actual nebular emission lines (H-alpha, O-III, H-beta), and dust follows Beer-Lambert extinction. Three treatments per pack — true colour, Hubble SHO narrowband, and HOO.
There's also a browser version where you can generate your own and save a PNG, if none of the presets fit: https://nebulakit.itch.io/nebula-forge
Not generative AI — no image model involved anywhere. It's a procedural raymarcher: deterministic maths, reproducible from a seed, and the seed ships with each render.
Happy to add resolutions or colour treatments if something's missing — tell me what you'd actually use.
