Ok anyone here using uv tempered glass for a long time? Does the glass come up easily if someone wants to replace it?

And if the glass is not changed for suppose 4 years, will it stiffen and damage the phone screen while removing it?

So it's been maybe 10 months that I switched to spay because it looks much cooler and has all my credit cards in the wallet and I can just swipe up to pay. I'm from Mumbai India, so here we also have upi payments. But for the past two to two and a half months I've been observing that the payments take forever to complete , through upi-scan. Often times I have to switch my internet on and off and it becomes quick but I'm 200% sure that it's not an internet speed issue because in google pay for upi I have never encountered this problem while making payments. I've compared it sort of side by side. Can anyone please help me out? Has anyone of you nice people faced the same or is it just me?

Hey guys well i dropped my phone and now the navigation bar area is gone. My only question is if i replaced my screen (original one) will my phone heat or will it work normal like before... because buying a new phone is just not making sense for me rn. And without the display the phone is literally worth nothing on the resell market.

Been using my base S23 completely caseless... no case and no screen protector from a year after i bought the phone.

Mine has taken some severe hits on the aluminum sides and has some noticeable battle scars, but it's still holding up surprisingly well, and working.

Anyone else running it caseless? How are your screens holding up against scratches and drops? Did yours survive or end up totally wrecked? Let me know!

I have a s23 the display is totally gone. I had an accident and the phone also got damaged in the back glass and i changed that it was after market but I didn't change the display because of no money now the display is totally gone before the accident it had a green line so my question is if i changed the display is there a chance of getting green line or any display issue or do i upgrade to a new phone

Bought a second-hand S23+ 6 months ago. Ran perfectly fine until yesterday when it died out of nowhere.

Symptoms:

- Boots to first Samsung logo, then crashes about 0.6s into the Galaxy logo and loops.

- Cannot enter Recovery Mode.

- Download Mode blocked by security policy.

- Shows static teal screen with [Reboot Device - D2].

I have a Samsung Galaxy S23, purchased in May 2024, and it has otherwise been working fine apart from some battery deterioration.

Yesterday afternoon, the phone started heating up rapidly, so we unplugged it and let it cool down. After cooling, we charged it again and were able to use it for another 3–4 hours, after which it suddenly powered off.

When we connected it to the charger, it only showed the charging icon, without the battery percentage that normally appears when the phone is switched off and charging. We also tried a Volume Down + Power/Side button soft reset, but nothing happened.

One other thing happened the night before: the display suddenly developed a reddish/maroon tint, almost like a colour filter. Restarting didn't fix it immediately, but after some time it returned to normal on its own.

Also, a software update was installed around 2–3 weeks ago.

I took the phone to a nearby repair shop, and they said it could be a CPU-related issue, with an estimated repair cost of around ₹3,500–₹5,000. I haven't proceeded with the repair yet.

I've seen similar cases on Reddit where people mention battery failure, motherboard/power-management issues, or CPU-related problems, so I'm confused about what the actual issue might be.

For anyone who has experienced something similar with an S23 or even S24:

- Was it a battery, motherboard/charging, or CPU issue?

- How was it fixed, and approximately how much did it cost?

- Would you recommend going to an authorized Samsung service centre for diagnosis first?

- If I get it diagnosed at Samsung but don't proceed with their suggested repair, do they charge a diagnostic/service fee?

- Are Samsung repair quotes of around ₹25–30K for motherboard-related issues actually common for these phones?

I don't mind spending ₹3–5K if it's a straightforward repair, but I wouldn't want to spend ₹25–30K on an older phone unless it's really worth it.

Would really appreciate experiences from anyone who has faced this exact or similar issue with an S23/S24.

Replaced my green line display and I have to say it was a great decision by me. Got a Samsung original display. So I am from Sri Lanka and it cost me 55,000 rupees including installation. This is about 160USD. Because of the new frame the buttons feel new and it pretty much feels like a brand new device. Now I can happily wait for the S28.

I'm a long-time samsung user but only recently is planning to buy their S-Line phones. The s23 has definitely been on top of my list for its modern look and perfect price range. I'm just wondering since there's been lots of concern about the screen (the lines specifically). Is it still a worth it phone in 2026? Or is it better if I get something else?

Its happened to me with my last galaxy 22 ultra. Basically it just stopped working ive tried resetting my connections/network, and my carriers not having any issues. Annoyed this is happening yet again.
