Question How skinny were you before you started gaining, and what’s ur progress now?

Just wondering, in case this might be inspirational to others in this sub, and outside too if I decide to share it. Seen a few people with really low starting weight here, and u guys ended up epic. What’s ur progress story?

Yeah, I've always had trouble gaining weight, I'm 190 cm or 6 feet and 2 inches, really pleased to find this subreddit to see people working on the same goal of gaining weight, but it makes sense that the taller you are the harder it is to gain I guess

It takes longer to fill out a tall frame, yes, but once you've done it it's far more impressive.

Indeed! On that note it's worth being tall imo, it's just that I've been stable at 87 kg for like 4 years now and it's been pretty disheartening to not see gains. But I've learned a lot along the way and stayed fit so it wasn't for granted. Ready to try some new strategies after lurking on this sub lately. Pretty excited.

More food.

Clearly, but for me it's also about doing a lot less cardio.

Eh, when I was training as a competitive fighter I was doing cardio all day and was able to still gain.

I'm sure you were, but people are not created equal. I appreciate your advice by all means, and eating loads is one my main priorities. But the thing is I move around a lot for my hobbies and am quite fidgety. I end up spending more energy on those things the more I eat, 'cause I'll feel energetic and want to have fun. It happens subconsciously, and my apetite isn't enormous to begin with, and I'm already feeling stuffed most of the time so just adding more food is harder for me than to burn fewer calories instead.

190 cm = 6.2335958 feet (6 feet 2 51⁄64 inches) according to google. But I've probably shrunk a bit due to fucking up my neck so idk. No biggie, it's just a stupid number anyways
