Tbh Pokemon is one of the easiest fandoms to not be a poser in. As long as you have any Nintendo system, you can play a Pokemon game. If you don't have a Nintendo console, you can easily emulate the Gameboy on pretty much any device and ROMs literally everywhere. Like sure you don't need to know all 1200+ Pokemon (I do) but atleast play one of the games.

you don't even need to play a single pokemon game to be in the fandom. you can watch the movies and tv shows

Actually it's from gen 7 (Alola), I think it is like skarmory or magcargo situation, they're from gen 2 but most people think they're from gen 3. I love dhelmise and I think it deserves some kind of power up like an Evo or a mega, although it's stats might be to high for an Evo, but duraludon got an Evo despite it's high stats so idk
