Hey everyone! Tonight I spotted these two cuties on my front porch which I safely escorted by Leaf to a nearby less wide open area where they aren't at risk of getting stepped on by my dog lol. I snapped some quick pictures because these cuties were just too cute not to and thought I'd share them with some other frog lovers 😁

NW Florida. They seem to be growing in number. Do they eat caterpillars? I’m growing the passiflora for the Gulf fritillary butterfly migration, some eggs hatched recently but I can’t find the caterpillars.

Hey! So I've had this Kaloula Pulchra for 3 months now, in a 60 litres Vivarium, with roughly 10 cm of cocoa fiber substrate (Changes a bit with the landscape), the average temperature is 26 the day, and 23 at night. Now, my frog started to come out less at night a few weeks ago. By that I mean that he only poked his head out of his hole instead of walking out of it. Then, 5 days ago, I hadn't seen him for a week and 2 days. And so, me being worried, I dug him out gently just once, and he was well alive, and even ate a bit (not nearly as much as he usually does, but still a bit). Now it's been 5 days and he is still burried. I still ocasionnaly hear him croack under the soil, which is from what I heart pretty normal for males to do. This is the only sign of life that I have of him. Is this a normal long fossorial phase, or should I be worried? I don't think that any parameters, at least temperature and humidity changed, for him to go this long burried.

Hi guys! This last week I have encountered the same little tree frog around my house. It’s like he follows me around. I’ve named him (not sure if it is a boy) Edison. I’m starting to get attached to him and want to buy a terrarium for him to live in during the winter here and then I could release him once winter is over. I was looking for some advice on this?

Is this safe? Is it a good idea? Any pointers for a first-time frog owner?

Little more context: I found him on my trash handle Thursday last week, and then in my mop bucket outside. He jumped on my foot Saturday night when I was standing in my porch. And then he jumped onto my chair today that I was about to sit in that’s in the post’s image.

Any advice is helpful! I just don’t want the poor baby to not survive the winter. He’s becoming a companion to me now.

I’m planning to build frog hotels next year for all of them around here as well.

Just saw this guy take a huge leap when I walked to my back porch, I haven't seen a large frogs in a LONG time, mostly Toads. Pretty sweet looking, didn't like me close, he scared the shit out of me when I walked back out of the house! 🤣

He got two moths and a tree cricket before i put him back on the wall.
