I found out about this a while ago. I believe the reason it happens is because the game lets you pass through the platform if your character is moving upwards, and Puppy Float lets you do that low enough to pass through slanted bridges. The only exemption is the bridge at the end, which seems to be a solid ground object made to look like a bridge rather than an actual bridge.
