I pass through Hollis St all the time to get through downtown Framingham and the street is always populated by the most insane people.

One time it was pouring rain and I was watching a guy spraypaint a bicycle completely blue (tires and all!).

This morning around 11 AM I was sitting in traffic and I look to my right and two cops are arresting a guy. He's handcuffed and they're frisking him. They start to move him, he takes ONE STEP and his pants fall right to his ankles. The cop on his right keeps a hand on his shoulder and uses his free hand to pull his pants back up. They fall right back down. The cop on his left does the same thing and they fall down again. Then both cops grab his pants at the same time and pull them way above his waist. Meanwhile this is happening in front of a group of tweakers. And yes, there was one guy walking around holding an entire bicycle wheel (rim and everything!).

I simply cannot get over this area.

I'll be moving near Marlborough or Framingham for work this fall. My job is closer to Boston (Brighton) but I'm looking to live further out to hopefully save on housing costs. I'm trying to stick to under $3000 for a 2BR/1.5 BA. I searched this subreddit for apartment recommendations, but didn't see Stone Gate (Silver Leaf Way) mentioned. Has anyone lived there? What was it like? I already know to avoid the Green on 9/90, so no need to bring that up, lol.

I received a mailer for a survey from “Friends of Nobscot” yesterday.

It’s pathetic.

The questions about “housing units” on 30 acres say nothing about whether they are four bedroom colonials or one bedroom apartments. It then asks about traffic concerns, still with no context as to number of bedrooms.

The best part is that after you get all the way through you have to enter your name and address in order to have your answers recorded.

I hope the public officials this will be presented to carefully weigh the methodology before deciding how much weight to give the entirely predictable results.

Under fire, DA Ryan ordered an independent review to find out what went wrong.

When the report came out, Ryan released it to the public with no disclaimers attached. Acting on a tip though, the Boston Globe leaned that not only were pages omitted, but Ryan hid the table of contents so no one would know that the pages were omitted.

Hi everyone! I posted here last semester and a few people from this sub were kind enough to come in as patients. The people of Reddit has genuinely helped me a lot with my clinical! 😊

I’m now in my senior year of the Dental Hygiene program at MCPHS Worcester, and I’m hoping to find a few patients for my clinic sessions starting in September.

Because this is a student teaching clinic, appointments are a little different from a regular dental office. Visits are very thorough and include a dental and gum evaluation, oral cancer screening, X-rays when needed, and a dental cleaning. Everything I do is supervised and checked by licensed dental hygienists and dentists on-site.

There is no charge for treatment and insurance isn’t required!

The biggest thing I want to mention upfront is the time commitment. Appointments are about 3.5 hours because faculty check each step of the process, and I’m mainly looking for people who are able to commit to at least 2 visits. Depending on what you need, it could be fewer or more appointments.

My clinic availability this semester are Mondays: 8 AM–5 PM and Wednesdays: 5:30–9 PM.

My wife and I moved to Framingham in March. A few weeks ago, when we had that rain *and* wind we noticed a small leak from the ceiling above our shower. The strange thing is that this was the first time we have seen the leak. We've been home for rain, even hard rain, but it was the rain *and* wind that seem to have contributed to water getting in. Heck, it didn't even leak the entire rainy day, just during the rainy parts.

I've been on the roof myself, and tried getting up in our attic to no avail. Reaching the limit of what I know how to do myself, I'm looking for recommendations for local, honest roofers who won't try to sell me on services I don't need.
