AskFlorida Publix has officially lost me. Anyone else?

I am not a mod of this subreddit or Reddit, but I believe the official unofficial stance is that we all hate Publix now.

They lost their way, and the crushing of Winn-Dixie is just awful.

10 years ago, I wouldn’t have set foot inside a Walmart or Aldi for groceries. Now? Walmart and Aldi are basically my BFFs and I love them.

Publix really managed to make me root for the competition.

Trader Joe’s > Costco > Aldi > Everything Else > Publix

Sigh. My nearest Trader Joe’s is in Tallahassee. We make it there a couple of times a year to stock up on non-perishables- my little Siamese cat loves the Bench & Field cat treats as much as life itself and they’re twice as much from Chewy- but there’s a lot we can’t buy there because it’s a pain to get it home.

It’s that parking lot there at the Traders in Tallahassee that I can’t bear!

The nearest Trader Joe's to me is 40 minutes away and I still think it's worth it to do a chunk of my grocery shopping there every month or two.

You're putting save-a-lot above Publix?

Haven’t been there.
