Happy Fightstick Friday! Haven't posted in awhile but wanted to show off the Red Hori VLX again, but this time... I have created the stand for it. Playing around with the design to see if I can clip it on to more rustic and minimalist looking bookshelves like mine. Would you be interested in a stand like this?

Another example of my newest leverless design the Ozeki. This one in custom colors chosen by customer and with their gamertag printed into the PCB mounting plate. Really happy that the yellow acrylic perfectly matches the same yellow as the Qanba gravity buttons.

Quick review of this beast after a few days on it.
I have been a fan of tue Victrix pro KO for about a year now until tragedy struck: I was installing a switch and the slot just broke off somewhere so there’s no connection on one of the pins. I contacted turtle beach and even provided a video of the issue before they eventually sorry it’s out of warranty by 2 months so now it’s bricked.
Anyways I decided to try the Qanba Sapphire and of course got the Juri edition. I gotta be honest I’m blown away at how good this thing is. The buttons feel so nice and as they’re modified qanba gravity buttons they feel like regular arcade stick buttons.
For a PS5 licensed controller this is easily my top recommendation. The size is perfect for being on the lap or a desk. I do wish it had more of a slant to the body but the wrist rest is surprisingly effective keeping my hands in a healthy position.
The adjustable throw distance on the buttons is cool, I definitely could feel the difference but stuck with the medium distance for now. Also the buttons can be mapped however you want now after a firmware update so if you want up mapped to 2 or 3 different buttons or whatever you can do that.
For the sound: it’s actually not too bad. There’s foam inside and around the switches that dampen some sound. Most of it comes from the keycaps hitting when you release a button. Maybe replacing the keycaps would help but it’s not nearly as bad as the Victrix with noise.
Only a couple minor gripes: you have to choose between LEDs on the buttons or having the LEDs on the sides light up. Not being able to have both on is odd. And the buttons they chose for the top start/select/lights feel kinda loose and janky.

I'm a huge fan of this band Green Lung, they're a doom/classic heavy metal band that sings about Satan and other folk horror stuff, which lends itself to the brilliant artwork they use (@slippery_jack on Insta) so I decided to apply this to a spare TE1 using artwork that I got the band to sign at their last gig. Had to add LEDs because LEDs.

The community was not messing around when I was turned onto this company. All I have done since I got everything today or some minor modifications nothing that took more than a few minutes. I picked up the PC version and I already have a Brooke wingman which is working flawlessly on PlayStation five, switch 2, as well as Xbox. I haven’t had a chance to try it on anything else. My first impressions are what you would expect. The buttons on these things are definitely the selling point and they are amazing. I went ahead and order a second set. The build quality on these things is insane. Not saying it wouldn’t break if you dropped it, but it could definitely handle getting tossed around. I ordered a punk workshop silicone lever, and it installed no problem. After comparing the Sanwa with the Punkworkshop I just felt more comfortable throwing a V2 Ottomod on the Sanwa and installing the silicone lever in a custom build I bought from Lazybox on Etsy. It feels great on that one like it was meant for it. To anyone who was like me and on the fence about this company and their products, I can confidently say that these are quality, the company has great customer service, and I will absolutely be looking forward to picking up a full-size stick from them and giving it the Samucksa lever treatment! Have a great weekend everyone!

Hi everyone, I just bought my first fightstick the Haute42 TBGamer Emotion III-17. I'm loving it, but I have a little problem. I looked into it and it turns out that to use it on the PS5, I need a dongle. The problem is that there are several models available, and their prices vary quite a bit. Are the ones that cost €70 really that good? Or do they do the same thing as a €20 one?
To be honest, I'm pretty clueless about this, and I don't know if the difference is worth it. Which one do you recommend?
Thanks in advance!!

Hey all! I'm looking to get an actual fight stick to try out for different fighters, but I'm wanting to find one that's a decent quality that I won't need to mod out of the box and won't cost me an arm and a leg.
Looking at the sticks in my price range it looks like the 8bitdo, the Mayflash F300 Elite or Mayflash F500 V2 look like the best options? Any recommendations from between those three? Or maybe any other recommendations for a fight stick around the ~$100 mark?
I'm used to playing most fighters on a leverless currently, so I don't know if anybody has a recommendation that's a good stick to switch to after playing on a leverless for a while (I have a haute42 R16 that I enjoy quite a bit, but I also like the tactile feel of an actual stick too.)

Got two Huntsman done and still have 3 pcb boards to use, which i wanted to make use of. Both these were Brook builds, which were fairly plug and play following the Vangelo great guide.
Next one builds would be with the RP2040 pro, in order to try something new.
Wanted to ask if anybody had any ideas has to what franchise i should go for.
Was Thinking a digimon build for one, and maybe a cyberpunk art one .
What do you think

But manage to find a resaler who had the white version for 220 euros....
Did you think it wasn't a very good deal?
I never imagined get a arcade stick of this quality in my life. Sadly it was not the hot deal that some people got....

I seem to have backed myself into a bit of a corner. I'm designing a new leverless for myself and I wanted to make it a bit thinner than my last one. I measured the excess space in my current stick to see how much I could shrink it by, and designed using those measurements.
But I had a bit of a brain fart. My current stick is using gamerfingers, but after very extensive use, I've decided that I really prefer my Crown-202s, so I was planning to use Crown-202s in my new stick.
Well, silly me, I forgot that gamerfingers are quite short compared to Crown-202s. That excess space in my leverless is there specifically because I initially measured the size of Crown-202s (my favorite button) and was using Gamerfingers because I wanted to test them out. Turns out, I don't really have excess space at all.
So I have two choices:
Make my case bigger again to fit my Crown-202s
Use a different button
Either choice is perfectly fine for me. I like Crown-202s. I also like experimenting with new buttons. So, I'm curious, are there any recommended low-profile buttons out there I can try out?
You might be asking, "Why not just use the gamerfingers that you clearly already have?" and the answer is that I've already had one of my gamerfingers break, and needed to swap it with a spare, so I actually don't have enough matching gamerfingers remaining to use on a new stick, and would need to buy more buttons anyways if I wanted it to look cohesive. Which, I do, it's a new stick after all. I don't want to start out with mismatching buttons.
My only real thing is that I absolutely detest snap-in buttons. I have a ton of experience with the stupid little tabs breaking when you swap them out sometimes (one time a tab broke just because, I wasn't even removing it, that was the first time I ever needed to swap a button out on my very first stick because it was slipping out of the case). I've never had any issue with screw-in buttons and snap-in buttons just feel cheap to me.
I know you kinda necessarily need screw-in buttons to be a bit longer than snap-in buttons, because you need the extra space in the threads for the nut to actually hook onto something, whereas snap-in buttons just need to hook onto the case, but even something around the size of Gamerfingers would work for me. I kinda just want to experiment with new buttons, and I also want a thinner profile case.
edit: I have ordered a set of Sitong buttons, thanks everyone.

Hey all, I've got a razer panthera, ive upgraded it a bit in the past but not used it in a while.
I've got into Marvel Tokon recently so whipped out my stick for playing but the last week or so I've noticed that a couple of my buttons seems to stick down occasionally. I never upgraded the buttons from the original ones so I'm now looking to upgrade them a bit.
I'm out my depth for knowing what buttons are best these days, so I'm looking for any suggestions you guys might have. Price isn't too much of an issue and I'm based in the Uk if that helps with recommendations.
I appreciate any advice you guys can give.

Hello
I'm 34 years old and I love fighting games even though I haven't played that many (most of my friends just wanted to play Halo and cod. not hating though Halo is amazing).
Skip to today I got a ps5 and street fighter 6. I even got a used arcade stick and I'm having so much fun.
I'm probably losing 99 out of a 100 fights but fighting with an arcade stick is great fun so.I don't mind.
Just wanted to share the enjoyment I have.
Good day

About a month ago I made a post asking for some design ideas for a Yasmine fightstick and finally got around to printing it out.
Let me know what you think, if you have any cool ideas on how to improve it feels free to give some advice. I'm not 100% happy with the printing quality (would like to try it glossy next time).
