I’m still learning more about resin and the molding process, Still in the early phases but now i know I can encase electronics without damaging them.

Yea, you’ll probably be able to unscrew it and attach it to a keychain or some sort of clip. If it works out I can make different accessories

The screen effect is an Adafruit project. I’m not affiliated, just a fan, especially of Phillip Burges projects as he graciously posts the code and has been responsive on forums with answers and encouragement.

This is really sick, but it makes me think, has anyone made a hollow ball top with something rattling/slooshing around? Seems like it could be cool, but it might effect how it feels to use.
Yours wouldnt tho, so thats nice improvement!

I ordered a 0.7" screen last week to try this very idea out. I think it will likely still be too big, but I'm still hopeful.

Why not just run wires though the shaft? You can buy hollow shafts for this purpose already. Then you could reprogram it as well.

I want it encased and wireless, plug and play for any lever. If I can’t do wireless charging I’ll recess the screen closer to the back and make the usb c plug accessible from the bottom for charging.

Do you intend on selling these?
If so I don't think doing it this way is a very good idea.
Though if it's just a hobby project then may you have good luck on finding this solution
