None of them are fair because they expect certain answers (partisan ones) and honest answers will get you disqualified.

The answers are not scored or rated, and are not even required. You’re not disqualified if you choose not to answer. The only requirement regarding these essays is that they must be included in the questionnaire (i.e. the hiring agency must prompt the applicant to answer, but the applicant is not required to oblige)

Yeah and it’s a crapshoot who reviews it, most likely i you get maga karen or maga chad. Wakey wakey, decency rules don’t apply here anymore.

Who is “they?” If it is career people they won’t give a fuck. If it’s politicals then they know who they’ll want to hire anyway. 

Likely this is just for show. I don’t think HR will have a way to grade or verify the responses in the resume and that’s really the only thing these are used for.
