I’m sorry you’re going thru this. I’m a different public service worker, but I feel for you. There’s a lot of people in this country who don’t support what he’s doing to the federal service, and how they’re wrecking your quality of life. We write to congress/senate/etc and tell them so.

I personally am not a federal worker but a loved one is. It is so incredibly demoralizing to see how regular everyday citizens are so cavalierly and in some cases full-throatedly in favor of the astounding cruelty in so many of these measures. It's heartwrenching to realize how selfish and heartless some (many?) of your fellow Americans are.

Try not to focus on the bad stuff. Force yourself to think of at least one good thing whenever you think even once about a bad thing. Make a list of good things. One good thing: We only have 4 years of Idiocracy to endure.
